Celebrating 15 years of sharing Susanna Dickinson’s legacy & the inspiring stories of Texas women—on Texas Independence Day!

The Susanna Dickinson Museum invites the community to join in celebrating its 15th anniversary on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 12 PM to 3 PM. This milestone falls on Texas Independence Day and marks 15 years of honoring and sharing the fascinating legacy of Susanna Dickinson and stories of Texas women throughout history.

The family-friendly celebration will include live music, Old West photo booth, personalized fabric flag craft station, exhibit tours, refreshments & more!

Guests will also have the opportunity to explore our exhibit and historic quilts crafted by members of Susanna Dickinson’s family, as well as artwork curated by Art from the Streets, showcasing local artists.
